George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces 

In this programme architect and design enthusiasts George Clarke travels the length and breadth of the UK exploring small and unique builds and the fabulous creators behind the masterpieces. With ten seasons to indulge in, follow George as he visits properties to discover the ingenious thinking behind their quirky designs.

The series isn’t just about showing the viewers some amazing and innovative homes, George is also armed with a budget in order to help homeowners make the most out of their awkward spaces to create an inviting and coherent space. Armed with modern techniques, this show is all about inspiring homeowners to think wisely about their spaces and be logical with designs.

Escape to the Château: DIY

Sister show to the hugely popular Escape to the Château, Escape to the Château: DIY follows Dick and Angel Strawbridge as they help ambitious British families as they endeavour to save some of the most beautiful châteaus in France.

With 5 series to indulge in, start at the beginning and follow the journey of these ambitious families as they set up their brand-new lives in the French countryside. Follow their trials and tribulations as they renovate room by room with the aim of their new dwellings being self-sufficient and open to the public for all to enjoy.

Grand Designs 

Potentially one of the longest-running home improvement shows, first airing in 1999, Grand Designs is a cult favourite show and one that should definitely be on your must-watch list. Presenter Kevin McCloud travels across the UK to follow the journeys of some of the UK’s most ambitious self-build projects.

Intrepid individuals take on the challenge of designing and building their very own dream homes, but the ride isn’t always as easy as one might hope. With 22 seasons to indulge in, you’re really not going to run out of episodes to watch. Enjoy some of the more famous episodes, including an ambitious build on the North Devon coast, the renovation of a 17th-century mill in Cornwall and modern treehouses.

Interior Design Masters

Hosted by the wonderful Alan Carr, Interior Design Masters is a relatively new TV show that brings interiors and competition together in one fun-filled show. Joined by interior guru Michelle Ogundehin, Alan and the team are on the hunt for talent, dazzling designs, and passion for all things interior. Ten contestants go head-to-head every week to complete a selection of different briefs in commercial locations, including shops, restaurants and salons.

With the winner being awarded a commercial contract, the stakes are high as a panel of guest judges choose one individual to leave the show each week. Guest judges include the likes of Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen and retail expert Mary Portas.

Garden Rescue

A home improvement show with an outdoor twist, Garden Rescue is all about our outdoor. Host by Charlie Dimmock, who made her fame on the show Ground Force, is joined by a selection of talented co-presenters to transform gardens across the country.

Renovating unloved gardens and tailoring them to suit their owners’ exacting needs, Charlie and her co-presenters pitch designs to the homeowners and work soon gets underway to transform the spaces.
