For many people, making the decision to have a homelift installed can be a daunting one. We have answered a few of the more common questions you may have below to help you make an informed decision. Installation

This depends on your choice of lift and home but it can be as little as one day. Generally, it takes 1-2 days.


Companion’s homelifts come in a range of sizes to suit individual needs as well as the available space in your home.


Please contact us if you no longer need your homelift and we will discuss how we can help. It is possible to remove the homelift and return the property to its original state with minimum fuss.


There should be no requirement to redecorate once your homelift is installed.


Maintenance and Aftercare

Your Companion homelift comes with a 12-month warranty for all parts and labour. In the unlikely event of a breakdown our support team are available 24 hours per day, 365 days per year on 03700 118282.


In order to keep your homelift in the best working order we recommend a service once per year. Our 12-month warranty includes one service to make sure it is operating efficiently. After this, we offer a full range of service contracts designed to give the correct level of maintenance and additional peace of mind to provide servicing and prevent or cover unexpected breakdowns.

Powering Your Homelift

In the event of a power cut, your homelift has a dedicated battery back up which will always return you to the ground floor where you can exit the car using a manual release.
